Lent 2022 - You are Here.

Ash Wednesday, March 2
through Easter Sunday, April 17

In this season we take intentional steps to learn, grow, and give in faith, that we might see better where we are, see that God meets us here.  This year, we're using You Are Here, from the Barn Geese Resource group and with others across the country.
Find worship details and RSVP for in-person worship on our worship page.

Study/Reflect/Give:  On your own, connected with Lutherans across the ELCA:
  • ELCA World Hunger's 40 Days of Giving: through study, prayer, action, and giving, make a difference and deepen faith.  Resources at the link above include a Lenten calendar, study guide, email reflections, and more.
  • Metro DC Synod Lenten Study on Jesus and the Disinherited (by Howard Thurman) - read the book "along" neighbor Lutherans from the Synod Racial Equity team with weekly reflections.
  • Now is the Time: Study guide for the ELCA's Declaration to People of African Descent: a group study guide powerful for individual reading as well, urged by our wider church for study in this season.
